At age seven, Sabrina started to attend RAD Art classes in Hartsdale which started her love for art.  In addition to these classes, she has studied at the School of Visual Arts in New York City and SUNY Purchase.  Throughout this time, she has experimented with several mediums including pencil, ink, charcoal, and acrylic. Her favorite mediums for her work are acrylics and colored pencils.  To continue her passions outside of class, Sabrina created her own art studio in her home -- multiple times -- and painted a statue that's in her backyard.

Sabrina continues to experiment with different themes and styles having being inspired by various and diverse artists such as Norman Rockwell, Roy Lichtenstein, Jasper Johns, and Jackson Pollack.  Other projects just for fun include series of cartoon characters and paintings of galaxies.  Sabrina has learned to sketch portraits and enjoys doing them from different angles in her black and white pencil sketches.

For three years, Sabrina participated in Theater Tech at her high school where she created and painted sets for shows and ran the spotlights.  She also was a Gallery Assistant at a Photography Show at Exhibit C, a gallery space in downtown Manhattan.

At age fourteen, Sabrina received a digital camera which started her love of photography.  During her high school career, she took photography classes where she created several presentations and learned about several significant photographers. Everywhere she goes, she still continues to snap photos on her phone or camera to capture a breathtaking moment.  

 

Sabrina graduated cum laude from Binghamton University with a BA in Psychology.  After graduation, she worked as a TA in an elementary school.  Currently, Sabrina attends NYU in pursuit of a MSW degree.
